All University of Kansas Cancer Center members are encouraged to apply. Pilot projects provide initial funding ($35,000 per project) for cancer-specific projects that contain a translational component that prepares the investigator and their team to seek long-term grant funding from the National Cancer Institute.

Applications for the 2008 Spring Pilot Project Funding grant cycle will open in February 2008. Applications must have a minimum of two principle investigators, one of which must be a Full KUCC member.
